Key questions to consider when assessing an informative piece of writing

 (Language of Information)

W.O.C.C.C.

  • Well-ordered: Is the information organised in a logical, coherent way?

  • Objective: Is the information provided completely unbiased or does how it’s ordered or presented suggest bias?

  • Clear: Is the information easily understood? Is the language accessible? Is any jargon used?

  • Concise: Is the information to the point? Or does it include unnecessary and/or irrelevant details?

  • Comprehensive: Is all relevant information included?
